Oliver Torres Muñoz (Oporto)

Today we talked about a young talent of Spanish football, since last season he is away from home, particularly in Oporto, Portugal. Oliver Torres was born on September 10, 1994 and has since he dedicated his life to his passion , play football. From young he started playing in the 2011 season in the youth ranks at Atletico de Madrid.


Then he play on the second team, showing that in his place of midfield few players were future prospects like him. Player noted for their quality, great skill with the ball at his feet, with a mentality awesome game and very quickly. In season 2012-2013 played several matches with the first team from the capital, demonstrating in the minutes that was in the field that had a decent quality of other great players like Cesc, Silva and Cazorla, all stars of world football.

In the 2013-2014 season he was loaned to Villarreal CF where he played more minutes significantly improved its qualities so in the same season he returned to Atletico Madrid to finish in an extraordinary way. In the summer of 2014 he signed for FC Oporto led by Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui, ex-coach of Spanish Under-21. The cost of the deal was 11 million of euros. This season has played a total of 31 games, sharing a dressing room with other Spanish players like Adrian and Cristian Tello.

Yesterday, this player was eliminated from UEFA Champions League against Bayern Munchen. His team lost the second match 6-1 in Allianz Arena
