In 2008 he arrives to UD Almería, performing at the Camp Nou a marking, memorable in La Liga, to Xavi Hernández.

It is in 2012 when he travels to England to play for Swansea City for two seasons. Since 2014 he signed for Qatari club to date remains one of the favorite player for Michael Laudrup, current coach of the Arab group, with whom he has four years working with him.

We emphasize that currently Chico Flores and some years is one of fixed and featured centrals defender in leagues that he has played (Serie A, Primier League, La Liga…), never becoming called by the Spanish national team despite his professional success.

Famous marking of Chico to Xavi Hernández in 2009

Currently it is talking about his possible inclusion in the selection of Qatar for the World there played in 2022. We recall that this country is betting on football and wants to surprise in his World Cup, as It did in handball this year, becoming runners in the world.

Chico Flores tells us that "I’am Spanish and greatest for me is wearing the shirt of my country, but since I'm in Qatar things are going well and I have already asked me about that possibility. I have explained the situation and wanted to know if he would play with the World 2022. I've seen with good eyes and not rule.”

He talks about staying in Qatar on enjoying with his family. “Football it's different. Low enough in talent, but it is also true that the player gains in quality of life and economy. And for his return to La Liga he tells us that if an offer comes from a team that you like and not have to forgive a lot, he probably will accept.

Rubén de la Cuesta (Sucre, Bolivia)

Now is the day when, as I said in the post about "Copa Libertadores" will reveal the name and history of the only Spanish footballer who currently plays in this year.

And he is ... Rubén Cuesta (1981 ) midfielder from Cordoba who emigrated two years ago to Bolivia in search of success that was denied in the fields of Second and Second B. After his experience in Cordoba, Ecija, Atletico Madrid B, Zamora, Guadalajara, Lucena and Linense, met new accents and dialects that led him to become champion of the Bolivian Clausura with Universitario de Sucre, and, of course, to fight against the big teams in Latin America in this edition of the Copa Libertadores.

Rubén that the Spanish footballer is very regarded in Bolivia and encourage anyone to try in this league. Although being respected and being a leader one would have to win being humble, hardworking, by example. His experience in Bolivia highlights being very rich, knowing another culture, different places, different people and the ability to play another championship that has nothing to do with the Spanish.
On the Bolivian league there are some delays in certain equipment as to collecting the bills, but it has nothing to do with what happens now in Spain. In his team, Universitario de Sucre, are serving very well and is grateful to be a serious club.

Match  in Bolivia
Currently , he does not think back to Spain and want to end up playing in Argentina or Brazilian league, but you never know. It is focused on making the best paper possible in the Copa Libertadores and time will decidemore.

And finally, we close with a phrase spoken by Ruben, and in which particular I can very agree "Those who say that football it is easy to know nothing of life. Football is a reflection of life ".

And a video with some of his hightlights.

Belgium

Belgium is an extraordinary country, located in the center of the European continent. It is a member of the European Union with an important heritage, it is an excellent tourist destination which also has a delicious gastronomy. In the other hand, in the sports side and more specifically in football, it has one of the most important continental level as in the last years it has developed into a high quality team.

The Belgium Football Team has a long history with multiple sporting achievements, at Euro 1972 he achieved a third position, and in 1980 didn’t win the final against the Italian team so they had to accept their second place. Since 2004 it suffered a drawback in quality among the players and the technical’s level so it didn’t get selected for any European and World Championship except in the World Cup Brazil in 2014. In this championship they achieved a very good classification getting to the quarter finals.

At the personal level, the Belgian team has players that have become important. Some of them are Jan Ceulemans, Timmy Simons and Eric Greets, with more than 90 games each with the selection and Paul van Himst as top scorer with 81 goals.

Currently this selection is among the best in Europe with an excellent team . This can be seen in its latest call for a great competition, as it was the World Cup Brazil 2014. As a coach, Marc Wilmots. From 2009-2012 he was the technical assistant of the team but since 2012 he has been training the Belgian team combining it as the head coach. in goal highlights the presence of Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea goalkeeper CF, players like Thomas Vermaelen, Vincent Kompany and Daniel Van Buyten were in charge of defending the Belgian goal. In the midfield there are two players, Eden Hazard, excellent player of Chelsea FC and Adnan Januzaj, fast and agile player who plays for Manchester United. In front stands the young striker, 21, Romelu Lukaku.

This team has great potential and great young players struggling to achieve their dream of playing in the absolute selection, so that in the future they will fight to achieve great victories in bigger competitions.

Denmark in Euro 92

In this post we're going to talk about a team in a competition what entered a few days ago and got the championship.
A well-known story in the world of football and we want to remember here today.

Denmark failed to qualify for the finals in Euro 92 but entered in competition thanks to the expulsion of the former Yugoslavia since war grounds facing the country, Balkan War.

The championship was played in Sweden, as in the phase of groups, Sweden eliminated two powers like England and France.

In the semi-finals they faced the Netherlands of Marco Van Basten, European Footballer of the Year and Ballon d’Or that year, surpassed it in penalties.

In the final in Gothenburg, Denmark beat Germany by two goals to nil.

Highlights as a player Tournament Peter Schmeichel, legendary player Danish football and Manchester United, who had a great performance against the Netherlands on penalties and in the final against the almighty Germany.

Costa Rica

Today we want to approach our readers like football in a country which is 8,500 km of Spain as Costa Rica, and perhaps it may surprise. "Ticos" as it is colloquially called the team, played last June the fourth World history in Brazil, where he earned his best finish so far after finishing first in the so-called "group of death" Three former world champions (Uruguay, Italy and England). Because of its good performance, Costa Rica was ranked as the surprise of the competition, which reached the quarterfinals, adding the fact that did not lose any game in the game, and that was eliminated by penalties against the Netherlands. We recall that Spain was eliminated in first round

Picture taking before starting one of the match of the Costa Rican National team against Germany

A detailed good job done by the Central Americans was that received the distinction of FIFA's top player in each of the five games they played. The goalkeeper Keylor Navas (signed after the World Cup by Real Madrid CF) scored three, while the front Joel Campbell (currently on loan from Arsenal FC to Villarreal CF) and Bryan Ruiz won one. Furthermore, by the major parties that realized, Navas was one of three who chose to award best goalkeeper in the World Cup, Gold Glove, which eventually won Manuel Neuer.

Then we will give some information about soccer in this country :

  1. They has participated in four World Cups, 1990, 2002, 2006 and 2014. In Italy 90, the selection came round. In 2002 and 2006 did not pass the first stage, and in 2014 earned his best finish being eliminated in the quarterfinals.
  2. He has won 3 cups of the CONCACAF (1963, 1969 and 1989). It is the third power of the confederation after Mexico and the United States.
  3. Costa Rica is no small selection. He has won a combined as Brazil, Sweden, Scotland, Mexico, United States and even tied at 2 with our Spanish selection (2011), but above all, it is evident with the position obtained in the last World Cup.

It consists of 12 teams and is played by two events: the summer (January to May) and winter (June to December). They face all against all and the first four play a semifinal. The final was played by two winners.
